Conclusions
This is a good lens - it’s well made and, for a zoom, performs very well. As usual with tele zooms it’s best at the shorter end but OK at 400mm. - with digital this is, for most people less of an issue. How often do you really need 600mm equivalent? I suspect most peoples use will centre on the 200-300 range where performance is very good.
