Epson are the biggest suppliers of inkjet photo printers and they can be split into two categories - those that use dye inks like the Epson 1290 and those that use pigment ink like the R1800, 2100, 2200 and 2400. Epson claim 25 year life for dye ink prints on Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper and around 75 years for prints on Epson media from the pigment ink photo printers
