f 5.6 Results Still fairly even overall with the best results at the 35mm end - quality in the center of the image now excellent from 28-35mm

Conclusions

This lens is a good steady performer. Used well stopped down results are excellent, but in the test frames at wider apertures there are some weaknesses - More than I expected having used the lens for a month or so now - I’ve been very happy with the results.  For a medium priced full frame lens with USM I’d still recommend the Canon 20-35 f3.5-4.5 USM.
