Both of the above are full frame, were shot at full aperture and haven’t been corrected for vignetting.

Conclusions

Overall I’m disappointed with the performance of this lens at wider apertures but stopped down it works fine with the Canon EOS 5D - All super wide angle lenses need to be used with care, and generally need stopped down a bit to obtain even coverage, so results with the digital 5D aren’t really much worse than with film in that respect. Stopped down to f8 or f11 it’s fine, but I had hoped for better results overall. Good lens with the 20D/ 30D / 350D/ 300D, Digital Rebel size sensor but results just aren’t as good as I’d hoped with the Canon EOS 5D. Guess I need to start saving for a 17-40L then.
