Bibble Pro / Bibble Lite v 4

Update coming: Bibble 5 is very different from Bibble 4 reviewed here. Like ACDSee it appears to be heavily influenced by Lightroom, with a redesigned interface and workflow.  Test coming soon.

Bibble is a RAW conversion package I’ve always associated with Nikon files, but it’s now been updated, and wow, what a difference!  Bibble is available in two versions - Bibble Pro and Bibble Lite - The software is essentially the same but the Pro version has some extra functionality.

Bibble offers lots of choice for screen layout so this advanced layout for batch processing is only one option. Whatever your preference is, it’s probably there somewhere

The interface is vastly improved and is now much more like RawShooter and Capture One.  In version 4.8 Bibble Pro has far more tabs and control sliders than either of the others. Apart from Noise Ninja and Perfectly Clear Technology we now also have built in corrections for distortion, vignetting and chromatic aberrations. Distortion correction is a really useful addition and is available for a fairly large selection of Canon lenses but not every one - the program wrongly identified this Canon 28-70 f2.8L image as being taken with a Sigma EX 28-70 f2.8.
